At Flipside, we recognise that the most important part of the recording process is you, the musicians and your instruments. Our job is to help you capture as pure a representation of your sound as possible. That's why we've invested thousands in great sounding mics and even more on making our Live room scientifically (and musically) flattering.
Great Mics in a great room is only part of the process though. Your signal then travels through one of our high end mic pres where it is amplified by a choice of Tube, Class A Solid State, or vintage pres, before passing into an independently clocked Digital Convertor. Once converted, your signal passes to our Digidesign proprietary hardware where it can be recorded by our Protools Rig, or if you prefer, Logic 8 or Cubase 4.
But Good equipment isn't enough! Our engineers are experienced and passionate about their craft. Having spent years honing their skills, and with many great recordings under their belt, they are familiar with the process and know how to achieve great results within whatever budget you throw at them. But most importantly, they are able to help you realise your sound, and offer production tips that can help take you in new directions.
